How long will the cleaning take?
Most carpets can usually tolerate light foot traffic relatively soon after cleaning, but full drying time varies according to the carpet, ventilation and conditions in the property. As a guide, allow up to 12 hours for full drying and longer where ventilation is limited.
How long will the carpet take to dry?
Because of the technique used in our cleaning, carpets should be dry enough to walk on within an hour of cleaning. We recommend that flat-bottomed furniture is not replaced for several hours and that windows are left open to air the room. Carpets should be fully dry within 12 hours.
Do I need to be present for the entire duration of the clean?
If you are unable to attend the property on the day of the clean, our staff can collect and return keys from another location, such as a letting agency, provided this is agreed in advance when booking. If you are able to let our staff in but cannot, or would prefer not to, stay for the duration of the clean, simply leave a key with the team so they can leave the property if needed, for example during their lunch break. Once the clean is complete, we can lock up and post the key through the letterbox, contact you so you can return to inspect the property and collect the key, or return it to an agreed nearby location. We will always let you know when the work is complete and the property has been secured.
How do I pay? What forms of payment do you accept?
You will receive an invoice by e-mail once the cleaning is completed. This will provide details for payment by bank transfer (BACS) and is due on receipt. We can also accept card payment on request. If you would prefer to pay on the day, our staff can accept cash or cheque.
Do I need to supply anything for the clean?
We supply all equipment, chemicals, and consumables needed for the clean. The only thing we need from you is electricity and water.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the cleaning?
For carpet and rug cleaning, please clear smaller items, personal belongings and breakables from carpeted areas before we arrive. If you have selected furniture moving, our staff can move suitable smaller items where safe to do so. Large, heavy or loaded furniture will remain in place and be cleaned around. For upholstery, please remove personal items and loose belongings from sofas and chairs before cleaning.
