How much does deep cleaning cost?
Prices for residential deep cleaning services vary greatly based on factors such as property size, room configuration, and the number and complexity of additional services included.
Our calculator takes into account the size and complexity of the job and will automatically apply our range of package discounts meaning that the more you book, the more you save.
A small job surcharge applies to bookings under our minimum call-out fee of £160. This is to ensure that travel and other associated costs are covered. We recommend adjusting your booking to include more services rather than paying this surcharge.
Prices are calculated exactly based on the type and number of rooms but a standard package clean without optional extras starts at around £160 for a one-bedroom, one-storey property with larger 5+ bedroom properties starting at around £340 depending on configuration. How long will the cleaning take?
Most deep cleans require between 5-10 hours depending on the size and condition of the property and how many extras you have selected. Ask our office when you book for an estimate on your clean.
What is the difference between regular and deep cleaning?
The first difference is in the purpose of the two types of residential cleaning. Regular domestic cleaning is designed to maintain the cleanliness level of a property as it is, deep cleaning is designed to reset the cleanliness level back to the best it can be. Regular cleaning is normally carried out on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Deep cleaning is required less frequently, and many customers book periodically, depending on how the property is used. Regular cleaning usually does not cover hard-to-reach areas or little-exposed areas such as underneath and behind furniture, deep cleaning covers every major component of a property and ensures those often-missed places are brought back to standard.
Do I need to be present for the entire duration of the clean?
If you are unable to attend the property on the day of the clean, our staff can collect and return keys from another location, such as a letting agency, provided this is agreed in advance when booking. If you are able to let our staff in but cannot, or would prefer not to, stay for the duration of the clean, simply leave a key with the team so they can leave the property if needed, for example during their lunch break. Once the clean is complete, we can lock up and post the key through the letterbox, contact you so you can return to inspect the property and collect the key, or return it to an agreed nearby location. We will always let you know when the work is complete and the property has been secured.
How do I pay? What forms of payment do you accept?
You will receive an invoice by e-mail once the cleaning is completed. This will provide details for payment by bank transfer (BACS) and is due on receipt. We can also accept card payment on request. If you would prefer to pay on the day, our staff can accept cash or cheque.
Do I need to supply anything for the clean?
We supply all equipment, chemicals, and consumables needed for the clean. The only thing we need from you is electricity and hot water. If you cannot supply hot water, just let us know and we can make arrangements.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for the cleaning?
If you have booked a clean for an unfurnished property, you need to ensure that personal belongings and waste are cleared and that most furniture is removed. Our staff can work around small quantities of furniture and can co-ordinate with furniture removals on the day. If you have booked a furnished property clean, staff will pull out and clean around and behind movable furniture. Large, heavy items such as wardrobes and dressers will be left in-situ and cleaned around. Areas that contain a large amount of belongings may not be cleaned, so the more you can clear, the better the result will be. As licensed waste carriers, we can sometimes offer a clearance service to remove small amounts of non-offensive waste from the property alongside the cleaning.
Do you offer gardening or external cleaning services?
At this time we do not offer these services. We may be able to complete small external tasks such as the outside of windows and doors, ask our office if you need these added to a package.
