What is stain removal?

Our stain treatment service is designed to tackle stubborn and set-in stains that can’t be removed by extraction cleaning alone.

Each stain is assessed individually and the approach to removal is targeted specifically for the type of stain and carpet fibre. We regularly treat a wide range of common stains, including blood, ink, urine, food, and drink spills.

How does stain removal work?

The area will first be cleaned using extraction cleaning, which is able to remove or improve many common stains.

After this, an appropriate chemical treatment will be selected depending on the type of stain and the fabric being treated.

Following application of the solution, controlled agitation is used to break down and lift the staining form the fibres.

The final step is to used water-only extraction to remove the stain treatment along with the stain itself.
